WOOD CHIPS are a wood raw material produced during the processing of Karelian spruce and pine. The product is intended primarily for further use in the pulp and paper industry.
• Softwood raw material
• Chips produced directly during the sawmilling process
• Removal of sawdust and off-specification fractions
• Screening on vibrating screens
• Preparation of batches for industrial processing
HOW IS IT PRODUCED?
Wood chips are generated during the chipping and sawing of debarked logs. A conveyor system transports the chips to vibrating screens, where sawdust is removed and the required chip fraction is formed.
After screening, the finished wood chips are stored separately from other wood-processing products and prepared for dispatch.
WHERE IS IT USED?
Wood chips are used as a raw material by pulp and paper mills for the subsequent production of pulp, paper and cardboard.
HOW IS IT SUPPLIED?
Product specifications, shipment volume, dispatch schedule and dispatch terms are agreed individually in accordance with the customer’s requirements. Transportation is carried out by specialised road vehicles.
